How To Find Us

Groundwork Leicester & Leicestershire's main office and the EcoHouse are located on the edge of Western Park, about a mile and a half from the centre of Leicester.

By Bus
From Belgrave Gate opposite the Haymarket, (outside Specsavers) catch any of the following buses: 13/13a, 15/15a, 18, 48, 152, 153, 154, 158. Bus numbers are displayed on the bus stops. Ask the driver for Western Park Gates.
Depending on the bus company a single ticket costs around £1.60, or a day ticket is available from the driver for around £3.00. (Family tickets are also available, speak to the driver for the best options for you.)
Groundwork's offices and the EcoHouse are almost opposite the bus stop, when you alight at Western Park.

By Train
Leicester Train Station is just over two miles from our offices. The quickest way to get to Groundwork from the station is by taxi.
Buses to the centre of the city run from outside the station, just over the pedestrian crossing. Alternatively a walk to Belgrave Gate should only take 10 minutes, where you can catch a bus direct to Western Park - see details of buses above.

By Car
From the City centre, follow the A47 King Richards Road / Hinckley Road from the Holiday Inn roundabout for a mile and a half. The Western Park gates are approximately half a mile past the shops and our car park is just past these gates.

From the M1 (North), leave at junction 22 along the A50 towards Leicester. Turn right at the Ring Road roundabout (after the County Hall roundabout) for approximately a mile. Turn left onto the A47 Hinckley Road, through the next lights and then watch on your left for the EcoHouse. Our car park is immediately past the EcoHouse.

From the M1 (South), leave at junction 21 (also end of M69), after 200m turn left onto the ring road (A563) for 2 miles until you reach the A47 Hinckley Road. Turn right, through the next lights and then watch on your left for the EcoHouse. Our car park is immediately past the EcoHouse.

By Bicycle
Groundwork's offices are on the Green Ringway cycle route which runs through Western Park. Secure parking is available - ask at reception.
