• 18 Jul 2009 - Leicester’s Riverside

  Aylestone Meadows to Watermead

  A walk from Aylestone Meadows to Watermead to highlight this regionally important wildlife corridor. Areas of interest will be pointed out and we hope to see some of Leicester’s wildlife. This walk covers approx 6 ½ miles and will take most of the day, bring a packed lunch, appropriate clothing including sturdy shoes. We will have regular breaks throughout the walk. Transport available from Watermead back to Aylestone Meadows

  Saturday 18th July 10am until about 4pm, meet at Canal Street, car park, off Aylestone Road. Arriva and First Buses operate a regular service from Leicester town centre down
