Groundwork has been on the lookout for a small herd of cows to help with the management of local nature reserve, Goss Meadows.
Tom Wallace works in our EMAS Education team. When he started work at Groundwork he naturally found that many of his colleagues were keen cyclists but also that some were managing to do nearly all their business mileage by bike as well as their daily commute.
On 23 May, for the third year running, more than a hundred primary school children celebrated the start of summer cycling in Leicester with a ride to the Phoenix Arts centre in the city.
A regeneration project in Priors Close Park in Melton Mowbray, undertaken by Mars UK in partnership with Groundwork, will be officially launched on Friday 13th June. The launch will include a presentation to the senior town warden and a tour around the park to highlight the work that has been completed.
The Natural Burial Company, a subsidiary of Groundwork Leicester and Leicestershire, is holding an open day at one of its beautiful natural burial sites on Sunday 15th June for people to find out more about this alternative to traditional cemeteries and graveyards.
